OUR MISSION

It feels good to feel good. Life is meant to be enjoyed. The mission of Good Vibes Yoga is to offer space for every body to experience peace and health in mind, body and soul. Good Vibes Yoga provides a cozy, light-hearted, community-based space to bring the ancient teachings of yoga to balance the mental, physical and emotional bodies which make up our being.

Maintaining balance in life takes effort, and brings peace. Good Vibes Yoga offers specific classes to create balance between strength, flexibility and relaxation. Practice the full variety of our regular classes to experience the many benefits of yoga. Workshops offer the opportunity to deepen your practice on a particular subject of yoga.

OUR YOGA LINEAGE

We are a community of like-minded yogis, who work toward living according to the moral code of yoga. We have our roots in Integral Yoga, through the teachings of Swami Satchidananda. His motto is, "Truth is One, Paths are Many." We are joined by students who connect with us from varied backgrounds and ages, and for various needs. Our students join our community in search of physical and mental healing, peace, balance, and strength. Because we are such a small studio, our instructors are able to give extra individual care, and guidance to each student. With this small class setting, students tend to progress in their yoga practice quite quickly. This invaluable knowledge learned on the mat can easily be taken out into the world. The benefits of yoga are endless. People who don't even practice yoga will benefit from those who do, just by being in their presence and experiencing their peace. This is our happy place, and we invite others to share in the same vibrational frequency.


 

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT

You can expect a warm welcome to our community! You will be encouraged to make yourself at home and feel comfortable. Instructors will get to know you by name. Students will be friendly and respectful toward you. You will leave feeling better than when you arrived.

We are the perfect studio for people new to yoga, and to experienced yogis. Not flexible? No problem! That is one good reason to start doing yoga! Heal your body. You will most likely smile with us, laugh with us, and feel totally relaxed.

Your needs are important to us. We offer small size classes to provide personal attention to our students. Instructors value safety, education and comfort. If you have specific concerns, we recommend a Yoga Therapy Session to assess your needs so that our Yoga Therapist can recommend the best classes for you. We welcome all feedback as valuable information. Please share all concerns with us so that we can make your experience as positive as possible. We are here to serve you!
